Tattenhall residential

Date: 30th Nov 2015 @ 6:50pm

On Tues 24th November the year 3 and 4 class went for an overnight stay at the Tattenhall centre.

We used the time there to produce some beautiful art, dance and music work.

We based our work on the Viking god Odin and his two pet ravens. The children worked hard with Lynn Poland to produce some beautiful, inky black raven masks.

Later that evening Elisha from homegrown dance came to work with us on our Viking invaders dance. She was amazed at the quality of dance that the children were able to produce in such a short period of time.

The next morning Mr Scott came to teach us songs about British history. We especially enjoyed the dragon song which is about Vikings travelling across the North Sea to invade our shores.

The children were an absolute pleasure to take away. Their behaviour and enthusiasm were wonderful and a good time was had by all.

Well done everyone!
