Shrove Tuesday

To celebrate shrove Tuesday today reception, year 1 and year 2 helped to make their own pancakes. We all helped to measure, add and mix the ingredients together. We then watched our pancakes being cooked in the frying pan by Mrs Pickering who even managed to flip a pancake which resulted in lots of cheer! The children then chose what toppings to have on their pancakes and enjoyed eating them, yummy! 

The children also worked together to do lots of activities including designing their own pancake, playing a dice game and making playdough pancakes. It was lovely to see the children interacting sensibly and supporting each other, well done!
